TEC's Website Goes Live!

On June 18, after eight months of development, countless meetings, writing and rewriting and writing some more, The Editing Company launched its new website.                                                                                                                                      

Like so much else in the world of writing and publishing, this was a tremendous team effort.
Thank you to the team here at TEC – Shealah, Nadine, and Camille – for taking the time out of your busy schedules for meetings and discussions, for writing, shaping, and proofing the content, and for your invaluable feedback and input.
 It has been a steep climb, but working through the challenges together has strengthened our team, shaped our Company’s vision, and pointed us in the right direction.
Thank you to the team at Omesa Creative Studios – Shailesh Merai, Luciano Sebastian De Monte, and Curtiss Chin – for bringing to life the vision that started out as the statement "We need a website" back in the fall of 2009. Shailesh met with our team in October and began the first phase of development: research about our Company, what we do, why we do it, who are clients are, our visions and goals.  Several months later, he presented a rough flow chart of the site and from there we began to build.
Luciano gave us our beautiful logo and sophisticated design, Curtiss enhanced the navigability, and Shailesh proposed additional elements to make our site even more user-friendly. As a result, we’ve added five exciting functions that promise to enhance our working relationships with our clients:
  • project management program
  • quick quote link
  • eNewsletter
  • online credit card payment with InternetSecure
  • weekly blog
Once everything was in place and after all the testing was done, we got together at TEC’s office and, over several glasses of wine and samples of tasty cheeses from Global Cheese in Kensington Market, we “went live”!
