Indigenous Men and Masculinities

Client: University of Manitoba Press (2015)

Project: Indigenous Men and Masculinities: Legacies, Identities, Regeneration, edited by Robert Alexander Innes and Kim Anderson

Specialty: This original collection highlights voices of Indigenous male writers, traditional knowledge keepers, ex-gang members, war veterans, fathers, youth, two-spirited people, and Indigenous men working to end violence against women. Each of the 16 chapter offers a refreshing vision towards equitable societies that celebrate healthy and diverse masculinities. We worked closely with the volume editors to edit each article for consistency and clarity while strengthening the author’s voice. We copy edited for U of Manitoba Press style in usage, punctuation, and spelling; corrected grammar errors; edited notes and references for Chicago Style; and edited figure captions for accuracy and consistency.
